Do you get worked up about the “early” arrival of the holidays? I don’t. But every year, like clockwork, the outrage sets in (mostly on Facebook, because of course). So I guess I get worked up about other people getting worked up.
Maybe it’s because I work in advertising, so my judgment is flawed to begin with. Maybe it’s because I prefer the flavors of late fall-early winter (earthy stews, root vegetables, warm spices), so I welcome an early ETA.
I look forward to the crush of time between Halloween and Thanksgiving and then December; when the wreaths come out on neighborhood doors, and those stupid antlers get put on people’s cars. TL;DR, let people enjoy their mulled wine and pine tree candles and chunky knits!!

And in time for hunkering down and wishing you had a hearth to sip by … setting up the ideal home bar.
I assume I’m already late on this one, but because I don’t really watch a lot of Netflix originals, stumbling on Dash & Lily felt like a balm. Recommended for any and all of us who are unapologetically lovers of rom-com and holiday goo in equal measure.
